SOMETHING BROUGHT YOU HERE

OHANA FOUNDATION

This is a space for women who are done performing. Done shrinking. Done waking up and wondering how it came to this.

This is the Ohana Foundation.

And what happens here has a name.

It’s called IAmMe.

What IAmMe is

IAmMe is not a course. It’s not a programme you complete and forget. It’s the name of the journey you’re already on — the one that started the moment something in you said enough. It’s the journey back to yourself. Structured. Intentional. And built for exactly where you are.

The five doors

Women arrive here in different ways.

Through Job Loss — when the title disappears and you realise it was holding more of your identity than you knew.
Through Retirement — when the diary empties and the quiet is louder than you expected.
Through Burnout — when your body finally says what your voice couldn’t.
Through Empty Nesting — when the role that defined you walks out the front door and doesn’t look back.
At the Crossroads — that quiet, persistent knowing: no neat label, just a sense that something needs to change.

Whichever door brought you here — you’re welcome.

Start where you are — a free Values lesson to begin the journey.

The map beneath

Beneath every IAmMe journey there is a map. It’s called the COURAGE Framework — seven stages, built by Wendy Gardner for women exactly like you. You may not know it by name yet. But it’s already working.

OHANA FOUNDATION IS A GLOBAL MOVEMENT THAT EMPOWERS PEOPLE TO FEEL SAFE TO LOVE THEMSELVES COURAGEOUSLY

BREAKING THE BIAS

For many reasons, lots of us feel self-doubt, and where our self-love should be - we fill it with seeking external validation, hustling for our self-worth etc,  By amplifying stories and research on the transformative power of self-love, we want to inspire every single person to have the self-assurance to proudly proclaim IAmMe.

I'M WENDY GARDNER.

I'm the Founder of Ohana Foundation.

I launched the Ohana Foundation after witnessing the gaps in support for people facing emotional crises, especially parents, children, and teens.

My own daughter’s struggles opened my eyes to how difficult it can be to get meaningful help. While I was fortunate enough to have the resources to seek therapy, coaching, and more, I realised many families simply don’t.

Some parents can’t even get time off work to attend hospital or counselling sessions. It struck me that help should be more accessible, more consistent, and ultimately more human than what’s typically on offer.

The name of my foundation, ‘Ohana,’ comes from the Hawaiian concept of family. It also connects to my daughter who was born sleeping and named Hannah, so ‘Ohana’ carries a deep personal resonance for me.

The foundation’s mission is to promote self-love, self-care, and emotional resilience for everyone, regardless of background. We focus on guiding people to reconnect with themselves, because I believe genuine transformation starts from within.

We also aim to empower carers, parents, and anyone in a support role, so they can truly be there for the people depending on them.

The sad truth is that many of us only look for help once we’re in crisis, rather than building a foundation of self-understanding and resilience beforehand.

I envision a world and a future where everyone feels safe in their own skin. Where our lives are filled with joy and self-worth. All of that starts from within.

That’s why I’m building Ohana.
